The 2012 Fall Season

Here is what is coming to AIA-Winnipeg/Classical Association of Manitoba in the coming weeks and months:

(All at 3pm in 237 University College, unless otherwise noted)
  • September 23 – John Dillon, The Alexandria Quartet: Callimachus, Philo, Origen, Cavafy. Department of Classics First Annual Hellenic Lecture
  • October 15 9:30-10:20, 244 University College. Kelly Olson, Celluloid Cleopatras 1899-2005. Classical Association of Canada western Tour lecture.
  • October 20 – Archaeology Day, hosted by the Department of Anthropology, University of Winnipeg. Details will be posted on this blog!
  • October 28 – Jennifer Tobin, The 2000 excavations at Zeugma, Turkey, AIA lecture.
  • November 25 – VAMPIRE DAY – a colloquium with presentations by David Annandale, Department of English, Film and Theatre – Amy Scott, Anthropology, University of Manitoba – Matthew Maher, Classics Departments at University of Winnipeg and University of Manitoba. Details will appear on this blog!
